The Highland Center offers
the newest meeting space in New Hampshire's White Mountains, with backdoor access
to some of the best hiking, paddling, and skiing in the region. Owned by the
Appalachian Mountain Club (the oldest mountaineering and conservation organization
in the country), the Highland Center was constructed using energy-efficient materials
and was designed to maximize each day's sunlight.
Facilities: 34 guest rooms and 8 meeting rooms, with
classroom capacity ranging from 5 to 90, plus state-of-the art A/V equipment
and Internet access. In-room dataports. Meeting packages include a 4-course
dinner, breakfast, lunch, optional programs led by trained naturalists,
and free use of outdoor gear provided by L.L. Bean. Onsite x-c skiing,
hiking/biking trails.
